  • Fresh coriander or chopped parsley
  • Salt and black pepper

Instructions:

  1. Tenderize the meat with a meat mallet and cut it into strips.
  2. In a large pan, heat some olive oil over high heat.
  3. Sear the meat on all sides for about 2 minutes, browning the outside while leaving the inside raw.
  4. Set aside the meat and lower the heat.
  5. Add the chopped onion to the meat juices, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 10 minutes.
  6. Add sliced mushrooms, stir, and cook for 2 minutes.
  7. Sprinkle with flour, stir, and cook for 5 minutes over low heat.
  8. Add the beef broth, stir, and let it cook for another 5 minutes.
  9. Incorporate the cream and mustard, stir, and let it simmer for 5 minutes over very low heat.
  10. Place the meat back into the pan, adjust the seasoning, and cook over very low heat for 10 minutes.
  11. Meanwhile, cook the tagliatelle in boiling salted water until al dente.
  12. Drain the pasta and arrange it on a serving plate.
  13. Place the meat on the tagliatelle and drizzle with the sauce.
  14. Garnish with chopped coriander or parsley.
  15. Serve hot and enjoy.

Tips:

  • Choose a meat cut based on your tenderness preferences.
  • Use mushrooms of your choice and cook them over high heat to avoid excessive shrinking.
  • Vary the type of pasta according to your preferences, but opt for a variety that will absorb the sauce well.
  • Make sure to adjust the seasoning throughout the cooking process.
  • Pair this dish with a good red wine if desired.
