Tender Beef in 5 Minutes! Chinese secret to tenderize the toughest beef.

Ingredients:

  • 500-700 grams of beef, cut into small pieces
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili flakes
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon chili sauce
  • 1 large onion
  • 1 pepper
  • 2 cucumbers
  • 2 tomatoes
  • A bunch of spring onions
  • 1 avocado
  • ~120 grams green peas
  • 1-2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 3-4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon mustard

Instructions:

  1. Marinate the beef pieces with baking soda. Mix well and let it marinate for 30 minutes.
  2. Prepare a seasoning mixture with garlic, sugar, salt, black pepper, chili flakes, balsamic vinegar, vegetable oil, and chili sauce. Mix well and set aside.
  3. Rinse the marinated meat thoroughly with water and pat it dry with a paper towel.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a pan. Fry the beef on high heat for about 2 minutes on each side until browned. Fry in batches if necessary. Set aside.
  5. In the same pan, fry sliced onions and peppers for 1-2 minutes.
  6. Return the fried beef to the pan and add the prepared seasoning mixture. Mix and simmer for 5-7 minutes.
  7. Prepare the salad by cutting cucumbers, tomatoes, pepper, spring onions, avocado, and garlic as shown in the video.
  8. Mix green peas, garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, mustard, and salt to make a dressing. Mix thoroughly to form a smooth emulsion.
  9. Combine all the prepared salad ingredients and the dressing. Mix well.
  10. Serve the cooked beef with the salad. Enjoy your incredibly delicious dinner!

Tips:

  • Baking soda helps to tenderize the meat. Rinse it thoroughly after marinating to remove the baking soda taste.
  • Pat dry the meat before frying to ensure a good sear.
  • Fry the beef in batches to avoid overcrowding the pan.
  • Adjust seasoning and spice levels according to your preference.
