Vanilla Crepes: A Delicious Breakfast Recipe 😊😊

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup FULL FAT MILK
  • 3/4 cup FLOUR
  • 1 whole large EGG
  • 1 tbsp OLIVE OIL
  • 1/2 tsp BAKING POWDER
  • 1 1/2 tbsps POWDERED WHITE SUGAR
  • 1 1/2 tsps VANILLA EXTRACT
  • 1 tbsp PEANUT BUTTER, to serve

Directions:

  1. Carefully break the egg into a separate bowl to avoid any eggshell pieces.
  2. In a bowl, pour milk and sprinkle flour over it. Place the egg on top of the flour. Add olive oil, baking powder, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract into the bowl with the combined ingredients.
  3. Gradually whisk all the ingredients in the bowl until the mixture achieves a smooth consistency without any lumps.
  4. Heat a non-stick pan and lightly brush it with olive oil.
  5. Pour a ladleful of the crepe batter into the center of the pan and rotate the pan to spread the batter into a very thin layer. Allow the crepe to cook on low flame for about 2 minutes until the base is cooked.
  6. Using a spatula, lift the crepe from the edges and loosen it around the edges. Carefully flip the crepe with your hands and cook the other side for another 2 minutes until cooked through. Transfer the cooked crepe to a plate and repeat the process with the remaining batter.
  7. Serve the hot crepes as is or spread your preferred topping over them, fold them neatly, and enjoy!
