- 1 garlic clove
- A handful of fresh cilantro
- Juice of half a lemon
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 brioche-style hamburger buns
Instructions:
- Preparing the Avocado Sauce:
- Cut the avocado in half and scoop out the pulp with a spoon.
- In a blender, add the avocado, white cheese, green bell pepper, garlic, cilantro, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
- Blend until you get a creamy sauce. Check the seasoning and set aside.
- Preparing the Meatballs:
- Form two balls of 100 g each.
- Preheat a cast-iron skillet over very high heat for at least 5 minutes.
- Add melted beef fat to the hot skillet.
- Slightly flatten the meatballs in the hot skillet, add chopped onion on top.
- Season with pepper and salt.
- Cooking and Assembly:
- After about 2 minutes, flip the burgers.
- Place cheddar cheese slices on top of the burgers and cover the skillet.
- After about 2 minutes of cheddar melting, remove the skillet from the heat.
- Final Assembly:
- Spread the avocado sauce on grilled hamburger buns.
- Place the burgers with melted cheese on top.
- Close with the other half of the hamburger bun.
- Serve immediately.
Tips:
- Don’t forget to grease the spatula well to prevent the meat from sticking.
- During the flattening of the balls, don’t force too much, just enough to create a small platform.
- Ensure to preheat the cast-iron skillet to a high temperature before adding beef fat.
- Prepare the avocado sauce first so it’s ready to use during assembly.
