The famous dessert that’s driving the whole world crazy! No-Oven Cake!

Ingredients:

For the cream:

  • 2 eggs
  • 100 grams of sugar
  • 3 tablespoons of cornstarch
  • 500 grams of milk

For the dough:

  • 1 egg
  • A pinch of salt
  • 250 grams of sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder
  • About 260 grams of flour

For assembly:

  • 100 grams of butter
  • 100 grams of sweetened condensed milk
  • Vanilla (to taste)
  • Grated chocolate and nuts for decoration

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the cream:
    • In a saucepan, mix the eggs, sugar, cornstarch, and milk.
    • Thicken over low heat, stirring constantly until the cream thickens.
    • Let it cool down.
  2. Prepare the dough:
    • In a bowl, beat the egg with a pinch of salt.
    • Add the sweetened condensed milk, vegetable oil, vanilla, baking powder, and gradually add the flour until you get a homogeneous and slightly elastic dough. If the dough is sticky, add a little more flour.
    • Divide the dough into 6 equal parts and form discs.
  3. Cook the dough discs:
    • Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook each dough disc for about 1 minute on each side until golden brown. Set aside.
  4. Prepare the assembly mixture:
    • Mix softened butter with sweetened condensed milk and vanilla until you get a smooth cream.
  5. Assemble the cake:
    • Place a dough disc on a serving plate and spread a layer of the prepared cream.
    • Continue alternating between dough discs and layers of cream until you’ve used all the ingredients.
    • Finish with a layer of cream on top of the cake.
  6. Decoration and refrigeration:
    • Sprinkle the cake with grated chocolate and nuts.
    • Place the cake in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours to set.
