STRAWBERRY BOMBS: THEY ARE IRRESISTIBLE!

Introduction: Strawberry Bombs – irresistibly delicious and remarkably easy to prepare! These delightful treats are a must-try.

Ingredients:

  • 300g (2 cups) flour
  • 1 egg
  • 45g (1/4 cup) sugar
  • Pinch of salt
  • 7g dry yeast
  • 40g softened butter (1/4 cup)
  • 140ml (3/5 cup) warm milk

For Garnish:

  • Whipped cream
  • Chopped strawberries
  • Powdered sugar

Instructions:

  1. In a medium bowl, combine sugar, yeast, and milk until the yeast dissolves.
  2. Whisk in the egg. Add the flour and salt, then use a spatula to start mixing the dough. Knead it by hand until it becomes stretchy.
  3. Incorporate the softened butter into the dough, kneading until completely combined.
  4. Shape the dough into a ball, cover it with plastic wrap or a kitchen towel, and let it rise for an hour.
  5. Divide the dough into eight pieces, forming each into a ball. Cover and let sit for 30 minutes.
  6. Flatten each ball slightly and reshape into a ball. Cover and let sit for an additional 30 minutes.
  7. Fry the balls in hot oil over low heat for 2 to 3 minutes on each side.
  8. Allow them to cool, then slice them in half horizontally.
  9. Spread whipped cream and chopped strawberries on one half, sandwich with the other half, sprinkle with powdered sugar, and serve.

Tips:

  • Ensure the oil is at the right temperature to fry the balls evenly without burning.
  • Experiment with different fillings like chocolate spread or various fruits for a unique twist.
