Ingredients:
- 1 pound shrimp (with tails on)
- Dry parsley
- 4 cloves garlic
- Seasonings: Onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, ground black pepper, lemon pepper, Italian seasoning, salt
- 1 stick unsalted butter
- Avocado oil
Instructions:
- Prepping the Shrimp:
- Drizzle a bit of oil onto the shrimp, ensuring they’re coated evenly.
- Season the shrimp with onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, ground black pepper, lemon pepper, Italian seasoning, and salt. Mix well.
- Cooking the Shrimp:
- Heat a skillet with a few tablespoons of avocado oil over medium-high heat.
- Cook the shrimp for about a minute on each side until they turn golden brown and the tails become pink. Flip them and cook for another minute per side.
- Once cooked, set the shrimp aside.
- Making the Garlic Butter Sauce:
- In the same skillet, melt one stick of unsalted butter.
- Add minced garlic and cook for around 30 seconds. Sprinkle in dry parsley.
- Bringing It All Together:
- Return the cooked shrimp to the skillet with the garlic butter sauce.
- Toss the shrimp in the sauce until they’re coated evenly.
- Turn off the stove and mix everything well.
Tips:
- If using fresh parsley instead of dry, add it when the shrimp is back in the skillet with the sauce for a fresher taste.
- Adjust seasoning according to your taste preferences.
- Watch the shrimp closely while cooking, as they can overcook quickly.
- Serve the garlic butter shrimp as a main dish or over pasta or rice for a delicious meal.
