Quick & Easy Garlic Butter Shrimp | How To Make Garlic Butter Shrimp Skillet

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound shrimp (with tails on)
  • Dry parsley
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • Seasonings: Onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, ground black pepper, lemon pepper, Italian seasoning, salt
  • 1 stick unsalted butter
  • Avocado oil

Instructions:

  1. Prepping the Shrimp:
    • Drizzle a bit of oil onto the shrimp, ensuring they’re coated evenly.
    • Season the shrimp with onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, ground black pepper, lemon pepper, Italian seasoning, and salt. Mix well.
  2. Cooking the Shrimp:
    • Heat a skillet with a few tablespoons of avocado oil over medium-high heat.
    • Cook the shrimp for about a minute on each side until they turn golden brown and the tails become pink. Flip them and cook for another minute per side.
    • Once cooked, set the shrimp aside.
  3. Making the Garlic Butter Sauce:
    • In the same skillet, melt one stick of unsalted butter.
    • Add minced garlic and cook for around 30 seconds. Sprinkle in dry parsley.
  4. Bringing It All Together:
    • Return the cooked shrimp to the skillet with the garlic butter sauce.
    • Toss the shrimp in the sauce until they’re coated evenly.
    • Turn off the stove and mix everything well.

Tips:

  • If using fresh parsley instead of dry, add it when the shrimp is back in the skillet with the sauce for a fresher taste.
  • Adjust seasoning according to your taste preferences.
  • Watch the shrimp closely while cooking, as they can overcook quickly.
  • Serve the garlic butter shrimp as a main dish or over pasta or rice for a delicious meal.

Enjoy your quick and flavorful garlic butter shrimp!
