Banana and Nut Mix: A Famous Dessert Ready in 5 Minutes!

Ingredients:

  • 3 bananas, sliced
  • Juice of half a lemon
  • 60g sugar
  • 30g butter
  • 50g chopped nuts
  • 2 eggs
  • A pinch of salt
  • 8g vanilla sugar
  • 60ml vegetable oil
  • 120ml milk
  • 160g-180g all-purpose flour
  • 20g cocoa powder
  • 15g baking powder
  • Powdered sugar (for dusting)

Instructions:

  1. Slice the bananas and sprinkle them with lemon juice.
  2. In a pot, caramelize sugar over low heat without stirring.
  3. Add butter and banana slices; stir until coated. Then add the nuts. Remove from heat and let it cool.
  4. In a bowl, beat eggs with salt, vanilla sugar, vegetable oil, and milk.
  5. Gradually add flour, cocoa powder, and baking powder; mix until smooth.
  6. Gently fold in the cooled banana mixture into the batter.
  7. Pour the batter into a baking pan (28 cm x 11 cm) lined with parchment paper.
  8. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 30-35 minutes, until the cake is cooked through.
  9. Dust with powdered sugar once cooled.

Tips:

  • Be careful not to overmix the batter for a light cake texture.
  • Check the cake’s doneness by inserting a toothpick into the center. If it comes out clean, the cake is ready.
  • Allow the cake to cool before dusting it with powdered sugar for an appealing presentation.
