Instructions:
- Prepare Liquid Ingredients:
- In a bowl, mix sugar and condensed milk with warm milk.
- Add dry yeast and an egg, then whisk until a homogeneous mixture is achieved.
- Combine Dry and Liquid Ingredients:
- In another large bowl, combine the liquid mixture with flour and salt.
- Use dough hooks to work the dough until it becomes homogeneous.
- Add softened butter and knead the dough for ten minutes until smooth.
- Let the Dough Rest:
- Cover the dough and let it rest for one hour to allow it to rise.
- Shape the Bread:
- Divide 2/3 of the dough and roll it into a 25×40 centimeter rectangle.
- Roll the dough into a log and cut it into pieces. Place these pieces in a preheated baking dish.
- Repeat the procedure with the remaining 1/3 of the dough to make smaller buns.
- Second Rest:
- Let the rolls rest for an additional one hour.
- Preheat and Brush:
- Preheat the oven to 180°C.
- Brush the top of each bun with beaten egg before baking.
- Bake:
- Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes for larger buns and 20 minutes for smaller ones, or until golden brown.
- Prepare the Topping:
- Whisk together equal proportions of butter and condensed milk.
- Apply this mixture to the warm buns.
- Cool and Serve:
- Let the baked goods cool completely before removing them from the baking pans.
