Chicken Thighs in Special Sauce

Ingredients

6 chicken thighs (approximately 600 grams) 1 onion (about 150 grams) 3 cloves of garlic (about 20 grams) 1 tomato (about 200 grams) 250 grams of tomato puree 250 milliliters of water 4 to 5 tablespoons of sour cream 1 tablespoon of chopped parsley 20 grams of butter 2 tablespoons of paprika 2 tablespoons of wheat flour Salt and pepper Olive oil

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). In a pan, heat a bit of olive oil. Season the chicken thighs with salt and pepper and brown them on all sides. Remove the chicken thighs from the pan and place them in an ovenproof dish. Slice the onion and garlic. Dice the tomato. In the pan, sauté the onion and garlic in the remaining olive oil. Add the tomato, tomato puree, water, sour cream, paprika, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and let it simmer for 10 minutes. Pour the sauce over the chicken thighs. Sprinkle with chopped parsley. Bake for 30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through. Serve with white rice or potatoes.

Notes

You can substitute sour cream with heavy cream or milk. You can add other vegetables to the sauce, such as mushrooms, carrots, or bell peppers. You can adjust the amount of paprika according to your taste. Enjoy your meal!”
