- Marinating the beef:
- Combine the beef with soy sauce, dark soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, baking soda, and cornstarch.
- Add a bit of cooking oil and sesame oil to the mix.
- Cooking:
- Heat some oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
- Stir-fry the white parts of the green onions and the yellow onion until they become tender, then remove them from the pan.
- Season lightly with sugar and salt while cooking.

- Stir-fry until the beef is about 70% cooked, then add rice wine and let it cook off.
- Incorporate the dark soy sauce, oyster sauce, and a bit of water, allowing it to slightly thicken.
- Add ground black pepper and reintroduce the reserved onions. Mix briefly.
