Ingredients:

  • 2.6 lbs beef chuck
  • Preferred seasoning for the meat (or salt and pepper)
  • Cooking oil
  • Onion
  • Carrots
  • Celery
  • Minced garlic
  • Flour
  • Tomato paste
  • Beef broth
  • Bay leaf
  • Additional seasoning (optional)
  • Parsley leaves for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Season the beef chuck with your preferred seasoning or salt and pepper.
  2. Heat oil in a Dutch oven and sear the beef on all sides until browned. Set aside once done.
